About Strezatis
Strezatis is a world created from the mind of a wolf named Amari. Obsessed with stories, fairy-tales and any other number of written articles, Amari spent the beginning of her life living in a mortal world where she was treated like dust beneath the paws of others. She spent every waking moment reading whatever she could get her paws on, and hiding away in the woods so the other pups would leave her alone. Truth be told, Amari wasn't sure what her purpose was within this pack of wolves who hated her so - she only knew that, for the time being, it was what she had.
Using stories to fill the void where love should have been, Amari struggled desperately to escape her reality. In doing so, she caught the attention of a God of sorts. He wasn't a major God, certainly not one that anyone knew the name of (then or now), but enough of one that he could grant any living being the ability to create their own universe - one that would fit snugly into a preexisting multiverse few realized was there.
There was no criteria for this to happen - you just had to be stumbled upon by him, and catch his interest. You see, he too was interested in stories - and wanted to give someone the ability to create their own and watch them flourish and come to life. It took years before he realized Amari, and then years more before he decided she was worthy. He waited for the pain, anger and sadness to swallow her - turn her into the demon anyone else surely would have been long ago; but it never happened. She remained pure at heart, intent only on devouring more stories.
When the God approached Amari, and told her he could gift her the ability to create life, to create an entire universe... Well, in short she didn't believe him. He had to be lying - Gods, Goddesses... they were all just myths, legends. They didn't really exist. So, he touched a paw to her forehead... and took her through every universe that existed at that time. From Asgard, to Gallifrey, a quick journey across Earth where she already lived, a sneak peek at Knowhere, another Earth similar but different to her own... and landed her right back at the spot where they had begun - in the middle of a forest she had known all her life.
Realizing the potential for stories, the things she would be able to watch unfold and document, Amari accepted his offer. Had she known then, what she knows now, perhaps she would have turned it down ... but, truthfully, there is no going back.
